A recent report by the House of Commons Public Accounts Committee claims that the Government will struggle to meet it’s, already reduced, pledge to reach 85% of the country with Gigabit capable broadband by 2025.

It would appear that most mainstream broadband providers are scooping up Government subsidies, intended to be focused on the ‘hardest-to-reach’ locations in the country, instead focusing solely on those areas considered as ‘low-hanging-fruit’ rather than the ‘Outside-In’ model being pursued by Building Digital UK.
